JOHN IOPPINI - OWNER

Understanding the SLO County lifestyle is at the core of what John and Tymeka Ioppini do at Backyard Visions. As a 4th generation San Luis Obispo County native, John grew up active in sports, 4-H, graduated from Atascadero High School, attended Cuesta College and then served in the U.S. Navy.

Having grown up in a family where your name and word has great value, John transferred those same values of integrity and honor along with a strong work ethic into his business.

Following his service to his country, John got his feet wet in the pool industry by purchasing Leisure Time Pools (a local retail pool and spa supply store). In typical entrepreneurial fashion, John gained much knowledge about his new venture by taking numerous classes, seminars, and meeting directly with pool product manufacturers. John would go as far as touring the facilities of his suppliers to learn the ins and outs of the pool industry. He was determined to become the pool and spa expert on the Central Coast.

In 2000, John launched his career in pool construction, building in-ground pools. Through the years John has developed a keen sense of listening to and understanding his customers needs and desires which has enabled him to turn their backyard dreams into reality. At Backyard Visions our goal is to build the pool and backyard that suits our customers needs so they will have many fun and relaxing memories with family and friends for years to come.

John’s team of trained professionals at Backyard Visions, Inc.  service and maintain pools and spas throughout the San Luis Obispo County region. No pool or spa problem is too big or small for us. As with every project and pool maintenance challenge, John puts his heart and expert knowledge into providing the very best solution for his clients.

John, Tymeka and their three children live in Atascadero and continue their family legacy of values and hard work. We look forward to meeting with you to make your backyard visions and dreams come true.
